The official website for the upcoming TV anime Otherworldly Munchkin: Let’s Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP! confirmed that the broadcast, originally set for October 2025, has been postponed indefinitely.
The production committee released a statement:
“The broadcast of the TV anime ‘Otherworldly Munchkin: Let’s Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP!,’ originally scheduled to begin airing in October 2025, has been postponed to further enhance its quality. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and concern this may cause to all those who have been eagerly awaiting the broadcast.”

Otherworldly Munchkin: Let’s Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP! is based on the isekai fantasy comedy manga written by Yu Shimizu and illustrated by Makoto Aogiri. The series has been serialized on Kodansha’s Suiyobi no Sirius platform since February 2019, with 12 collected volumes published to date.

Synopsis (via Kodansha)
The story follows 16-year-old Yukito Kirihara, who lives with his beloved younger sister Sana. When an ogre suddenly appears to target Sana, Yukito sacrifices himself to save her and dies. Offered reincarnation by a mysterious woman, he receives a character sheet in a strange book—and discovers Sana’s name inside it as well. Determined to reunite and protect her, Yukito embarks on a dungeon-speedrunning journey, despite being handicapped with only 1 HP.
