Summer Pockets Anime Casts Kana Hanazawa as Nanami in Episode 23
The ongoing Summer Pockets TV anime has revealed that Kana Hanazawa will voice Nanami, a mysterious new character debuting in Episode 23. Crunchyroll is streaming the romance series worldwide.

The official website for the TV anime Summer Pockets has announced that Kana Hanazawa (best known as Mitsuri Kanroji in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) will join the cast as Nanami, a key new character appearing in Episode 23.
Fans of the original visual novel will recognize Nanami as a mysterious figure who has been narrating the story up until now. Hanazawa commented:
“For those who haven’t played the game, she has been this unseen presence. Finally, I could say it’s Nanami-chan, and I felt liberated! I can’t reveal much yet, but she’ll be an important part of the story from here on, so please look forward to it.”
On the anime’s official X (formerly Twitter), Hanazawa also shared a short video message:
“The anime is now entering its climax, and from this point on, I will be joining the story as Nanami. Please pay close attention to how she becomes involved at this pivotal moment.”
A new character visual and the eighth promotional trailer highlight Nanami’s arrival, teasing her role in the unfolding climax.
