Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! Anime Adds 7 New Cast Members Ahead of 2026 Broadcast
The upcoming Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! anime adaptation revealed seven new cast members during a special KYOMAF 2025 stage event. The romantic comedy series, based on Syundei’s manga, is set to premiere in 2026 and will be streamed worldwide on Crunchyroll.

During the Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! stage event at KYOMAF 2025, the production team unveiled seven new cast members for the highly anticipated rom-com anime scheduled to broadcast in 2026.

The main leads, Okuto Nakamura and Aiki Hirose, will be voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi and Yuki Sakakihara, respectively.
Staff and Production Team
The anime is directed by Aoi Umeki (Pop Team Epic Season 1 director), who also provides character designs, with Naoki Yoshibe serving as assistant director. Series composition is handled by Yasuko Aoki (Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister), and music is composed by Ayana Tsujita (The Demon Prince of Momochi House). The project is being produced at studio Drive.
About the Story
Originally created by Syundei, the manga is officially published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. The lighthearted romantic comedy follows Nakamura, a shy and awkward boy who instantly falls for his dreamy classmate Hirose. The only problem? They haven’t actually met, and Nakamura’s clumsy nature threatens to ruin his chances before anything even begins.
With a 2026 release date, Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! is shaping up to be a must-watch series for fans of BL rom-com anime. Crunchyroll has confirmed streaming rights for the series outside of Japan.
