The wait is nearly over for fans of Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits- as the anime’s second season officially premieres in October 2025. Based on the light novel series by Midori Yuma with illustrations by Laruha, the upcoming season will be co-produced by GONZO and Makaria studios.
A new teaser trailer and key visual were unveiled, highlighting the return of protagonist Aoi Tsubaki, voiced by Nao Toyama. The teaser also confirmed the series’ new opening theme song, “Toryanse”, performed by Toyama herself. The track is composed, arranged, and lyrically crafted by Masayoshi Oishi, known for his work with OxT, and will release on November 5, 2025.
The sequel sees Joe Yoshizaki stepping in as director, replacing the first season’s helm, while Tomoko Konparu returns for series composition. Hidemi Katsura joins as the new character designer, and Takuro Iga reprises his role as music composer.
