The official website for Potion, Waga Mi wo Tasukeru has released its second teaser trailer, finally confirming that the TV anime will premiere on October 2, 2025. The clip introduces fans to the voices of its two main characters—Kaede, voiced by Kaede Hondo (ZOMBIE LAND SAGA), and Asuru, voiced by Takeo Otsuka (OKITSURA).
Adapted from the isekai fantasy light novel series written by Akira Iwafune and illustrated by Sunaho Tobe, the anime tells the story of Kaede, an ordinary high school girl suddenly transported to a mysterious new world filled with elves, beastmen, and dragons. Armed only with a strange magical book, she discovers she can create powerful potions with a simple chant of “creation.” These potions become her lifeline as she struggles to survive in this unfamiliar world, all while holding on to the hope of one day returning home to Japan.
The anime is directed by Mikiko Furukawa (Moriarty’s Perfect Crime), with sound direction by Yuichi Imaizumi and music by bermei.inazawa. Production is handled by Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio, making this the next highly anticipated project in Animation ID’s “Light Anime” series following Moriarty’s Perfect Crime, Lockdown Zone: Level X, and With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess.
With its mix of survival drama, fantasy adventure, and character-driven storytelling, Potion, Waga Mi wo Tasukeru is already generating excitement among anime fans who enjoy isekai tales with unique twists.
