Rising voice actor unit IBERIs& (pronounced E-Be-Ri-Su-And) continues their musical journey with the release of their eighth single “Kimitte Hoshi” on August 6, 2025. The single made an immediate impact, debuting at #9 on Oricon’s daily single charts, and is available now on CD in Japan.
The official music video for “Kimitte Hoshi” was uploaded to the group’s YouTube channel, offering fans a visually touching experience themed around Tanabata, Japan’s star festival. In the video, the eight members perform elegant choreography while writing heartfelt wishes on paper strips and tying them to bamboo—an homage to the romantic folklore behind Tanabata.
Song Concept & Theme
According to the group's official website, “Kimitte Hoshi” tells “the story of a protagonist who wants to change the future by falling in love with you, who are far away like the stars.” This poetic concept is perfectly captured in both the song's lyrics and the symbolic visuals of the video.
