VTuber and singer KOKO has released the official music video for “Shangri-La”, the ending theme song for Episode 5 of the summer 2025 sci-fi anime KAMITSUBAKI CITY UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Streaming now on Crunchyroll, the series features different solo ending songs by members of the virtual YouTuber unit V.W.P., with KOKO also performing the opening theme “Utahime” and voicing the main character Koko Rinne.

The official YouTube channel of VTuber and singer KOKO has unveiled the music video for “Shangri-La”, the new ending theme featured in Episode 5 of KAMITSUBAKI CITY UNDER CONSTRUCTION.

KOKO, a member of the five-person virtual YouTuber group V.W.P. (Virtual Witch Phenomenon), also performs the anime’s opening theme “Utahime” (“DIVA”) and voices the main character Koko Rinne alongside other V.W.P. members.

The singer, signed under KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO and active since October 2020, described “Shangri-La” on X (formerly Twitter) as “a memorable music video with a slightly different approach” and expressed hope that fans will recall anime scenes when hearing the song.

A Unique Ending Theme Rotation

From Episode 2 onward, the anime has rotated through solo ending themes by V.W.P. members:

  • Episode 2: “BREATHE” – Isekaijoucho

  • Episode 3: “Senkou Datta” (“INSIGHT”) – RIM

  • Episode 4: “Kyori” – Harusaruhi

  • Episode 5: “Shangri-La” – KOKO
