The iconic crime-action manga Cat’s Eye by Tsukasa Hojo (creator of City Hunter) is making a powerful comeback in 2025. The official website has unveiled the main trailer for the new anime adaptation, giving fans a first look at the stylish action and the highly anticipated theme songs performed by Ado.

Ado’s Double Contribution

The trailer introduces Ado’s two contributions to the soundtrack:

  • Ending Theme: “CAT’S EYE” — a modern cover of the 1983 TV anime’s classic opening theme originally sung by Anri.

  • Opening Theme: “Magic” — a newly written retro-pop track by Tsumiki, offering a fresh yet nostalgic sound that complements Ado’s evolving musical style.

Ado expressed her excitement:
“I’m very honored to perform both the opening and ending themes for Cat’s Eye. Magic is a retro pop number that makes your heart dance, a new step for me musically. Covering CAT’S EYE for the ending was a special experience, and I can’t wait for fans to hear it when the anime begins streaming on Disney Plus.”
