The live-action stage adaptation of Cyborg 009 is back with its second installment, titled Cyborg 009 The Stage – The 13th Pursuer. Scheduled to run from November 14 to 24, 2025, in Tokyo, this production will see the return of Hiroki Nanami as Joe Shimamura/009, along with the original cast and exciting new characters.

The legendary manga Cyborg 009 continues to captivate audiences, this time on the live-action stage. The second show in the stage adaptation series, titled “Cyborg 009 The Stage – The 13th Pursuer,” is officially set to run from November 14 to 24, 2025, at Stellar Ball in Shinagawa Prince Hotel, Tokyo.

This theatrical revival follows the success of the first show held in May 2024, part of the franchise’s 60th anniversary celebration. The newly released announcement trailer and main visual promise a gripping follow-up steeped in action, sci-fi mystery, and emotional storytelling.


Returning Cast & New Faces

Fans will be thrilled to know that Hiroki Nanami, former Takarazuka star, will reprise her role as the protagonist Joe Shimamura / 009. The original ensemble from the 2024 performance also returns, including:

Creative Team & Direction

The production brings back Go Ueki (known for Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rule the Stage) as director, while Shinjiro Kameda (from MANKAI STAGE ‘A3!’) returns as scriptwriter. This creative team ensures a seamless blend of intense drama and spectacular visual storytelling that aligns with the spirit of Shotaro Ishinomori's original manga.
