Story Overview

The series follows Hajime Shinonome, a 29-year-old single mid-level adventurer who once struggled to survive in the slums. Now living peacefully in Komai village, his life changes when he rescues Rirui, a girl abandoned by her parents, from a dungeon attack. Together with friends like the dwarf blacksmith Anyango and the mysterious succubus Veronica, Hajime embarks on a slapstick yet emotional journey of adventure, survival, and newfound bonds.

The original manga, serialized since 2016, has released 19 volumes to date, with the 20th volume launching on September 9, 2025 in Japan.
