Japanese publisher Overlap has officially announced that Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill has surpassed 10 million copies in circulation worldwide, including both print and digital editions. The isekai fantasy light novel series, written by Ren Eguchi and illustrated by Masa, continues to grow in popularity with fans across the globe.
Originally serialized on the self-publishing website Shousetsuka ni Narou in January 2016, the series has steadily built a strong fanbase. Overlap began publishing the light novel under its Overlap Novels label in November 2016, with the highly anticipated 17th volume scheduled for release in Japan on September 25, 2025.
The manga adaptation, illustrated by Akagishi K, has been serialized on Overlap’s Comic Gardo since March 2017 and currently spans 11 collected volumes.

Following the success of the first season in 2023, the second season of the anime adaptation will premiere on October 7, 2025.
